Welcome to the event section. Here you will find suggestions of INTUITIVE related activities.
INTUITIVE will arrange three 4 day long themed research schools focusing on project related areas such as neuroscience, robotics, mechanics and haptics. They will also include soft skills to learn how to shape a career, perform valuable and impactful research, manage data, people and responsibilities.
INTUITIVE Research School 1
3-6 May 2021
The 1st Research School is about tactile encoding in biological systems and methods to infer the tactile mechanisms.
It will include invited lectures on neuroscience, neurophysiology and sensation and perception as well as lectures about soft skills such as ethics and regulations for human/animal studies. The program will also include a plenary lecture on “Biologically Inspired Systems”.
INTUITIVE Research School 2 Spring 2022
The 2nd Research School is about biomimetic and flexible electronics technologies.
It will include invited lectures on flexible electronics, electronics design, soft-MEMS, tactile sensing technologies and the invasive/non-invasive technologies for tactile feedback as well as lectures about soft skills such as protection of intellectual rights, scientific writings, proposal writing and public engagement. The program will also include a plenary lecture on “Vision 2020-Academic Perspective on Tactile Interfaces and Robotics”.
INTUITIVE Research School Spring 2023
The 3rd Research School is about applications of biomimetic tactile skin in robotics, prosthetics, haptics and rehabilitation.
It will include invited lectures on sensory systems robotics and prosthetics, visual reality, rehabilitation for blind, evolution of robotics/prosthetics and future directions as well as lectures about soft skills such as transfer of technology, scientific writings, proposal writing and public engagement. The program will also include a plenary lecture on “Vision 2020 – Industry Perspectives on Tactile Interfaces and Robotics”.
